D.A.V Public School Gurugram organised an Inter School event
'MATHEMANIA -The Math Fest', on 16th July 2025.
Six students of our school participated in 3 different events:-
Event 1 (Classes IX – XI) Math Ramp Walk
Event 2 (Classes VII – VIII) Young Entrepreneur
Event 3 (Classes V – VII) Math and Mysteries
Event – 1
Two students participated enthusiastically in the ‘Maths Ramp Walk’
Neetu wore a dress which was decorated with geometrical shapes, both 2D and 3D. She walked gracefully, while Anshu Priya of class XI explained the concept behind the different shapes such as circles, triangles, cones, cylinders etc.
Both girls participated with confidence and were appreciated by the judges.
Event 2: -
Two students, Aarav Kataria of Class VIIA and Ankita Sharma of Class VIIIA, prepared a board game on the topic, ‘ Forest of Fractions’. They actively participated in this event. The game provided an engaging and interactive way to understand fractions through play–based learning. Both students demonstrated enthusiasm, teamwork and solved fraction–based tasks throughout the game. The judges actually played the game and appreciated it.
Event 3 : -
Two students, Rishabh Bhattacharjee, Class VA and Yukta Mishra, Class VIA, participated enthusiastically in the story narration activity on the topic 'The Other Side of Zero'. The session provided creativity and meaningful perspective through story telling. Both the participants presented the story with confidence, showcasing their imagination and communication skills.
Both the students performed well.
