The Annual Function, titled Manoharam-The Leela of Lord Krishna, was presented by the students of Classes Nursery to II. It was celebrated in the Kalawati Auditorium on 07.08.2025. Dr. Captain Urvashi Tandon presided over the function as the Chief Guest. Respected Chairman Sir, MD Ma'am, Pro Chairman Sir and other esteemed members of the Management were also among the notable dignitaries who graced the function.
After the introduction of the Chief Guest by Principal Ma'am, the function commenced with the traditional ritual of lighting the holy lamp by the honourable Chief Guest.
To set the mood of the devotional programme, two young students of Class II recited some beautiful Shlokas from the Bhagwad Gita, 15th Adhyay.
In keeping with the theme of Janmashtami, the young students depicted the joy in Gokul, at the birth of Lord Krishna. They also showed his playful childhood, his mischief and his playful antics with the 'Gopis'. The highlight of the function was a musical skit depicting the immortal bond of friendship between Lord Krishna and Sudama. The function ended with two group songs by all the participants, one on the theme of Janmashtami and the other depicting the patriotic fervour of our Independence Day.
In her address to the gathering, the Chief Guest was full of praise at the way the young students performed. She appreciated the fact that the school is teaching children all the rights values at such a young age. Vice Principal Ma'am gave the Vote of Thanks and the function concluded with the National Anthem.
