22nd April is celebrated as Earth Day every year. The purpose of celebrating this day is to make students aware about conserving our resources and saving our Mother Earth.
To mark this occasion, a special assembly was conducted by the students of Classes VI-XII. The theme for the Earth Day 2025 was 'Our Power, Our Planet'.
The programime started with the school prayer. Khushi Yadav of Class XI, then delivered a speech in English on the Importance of this day. Prachi of class XI, recited a Hindi poem which stressed upon saving our Mother Earth. Students were made aware that single use plastic should be avoided as it is very harmful for our environment. People must find ways and means for sustainable living.
On the whole, it was a good show put up by the students.
