Ganga - Udgam Se Utkarsh Tak 13/12/25

A grand cultural extravaganza on the theme “Ganga – Udgam se Utkarsh Tak” was presented by the students of Classes VII and VIII. The occasion was graced by Maj. Gen. V. S. Yadav, AVSM as the Chief Guest, along with the esteemed presence of the School Chairman, Managing Director, and Pro-Chairman. The programme commenced with a melodious welcome song, followed by a warm welcome address by the School Principal. This was followed by the lighting of the holy lamp, after which a token of gratitude was presented to the Chief Guest.

The cultural showcase began with a graceful Ganesh Vandana, setting a devotional tone. Students then depicted the journey of Maa Ganga, from Rishi Kapila’s curse on the Sagar Putras to King Bhagirath’s penance for Ganga’s avataran. A dynamic Shiv dance portrayed Lord Shiva’s power, leading into the scene where Mahadev receives Ganga in his jata. The elegant Bhagirathi dance celebrated her purity, while a thought-provoking skit and pollution dance highlighted how humans are degrading the river. Maa Ganga’s plea to protect her and a heartfelt promise by humans reinforced the message of conservation. The presentation concluded with a vibrant Namami Gange dance and a powerful finale—an ode to Maa Ganga.

In his address, the Chief Guest praised the students for their outstanding performances and meaningful portrayal of the theme. He emphasized the importance of staying away from excessive screen time, encouraging students to spend quality time with family and imbibe strong values for holistic development. The event concluded with a Vote of Thanks by the Vice Principal, followed by the National Anthem.
