Human Rights Day was celebrated on 10th December to honour the adoption of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights in 1948.
The celebration began with an insightful speech by Yati of class VIII A who highlighted the significance of safeguarding every individual’s rights. She reminded the students that even small actions—like standing against bullying, being kind, and treating everyone fairly—can help create a more just and peaceful environment. This was followed by a touching poem by Amyra of VIII A that beautifully conveyed the message of unity, shared humanity, and the need to stand together to build a just and inclusive world.
The celebration encouraged students to appreciate the essence of human rights and inspired them to uphold these values in their everyday actions.
