A special CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) awareness session was conducted by K.R. Mangalam University for Classes XI and XII (Biology Students). The resource person explained the steps of CPR using the mnemonic ‘DR CALL CAB,’ which stands for D–Danger, R–Response, C–Call for help, A–Airway, L–Look, Listen, Feel, L–Locate pulse, C–Compress, A–Airway (open again), B–Breathe. Students also learned to identify signs of cardiac arrest and the importance of timely CPR before medical help arrives.
The live demonstration was interactive and informative, concluding with insights into medical career opportunities. It was an enriching and life-saving session.
